Sold Out!!! – South Australian Whale Watching Tours to The Great Australian Bight August 2024
A truly exhilarating experience for nature lovers, taking in some of Australia’s most stunning, rugged coastal scenery while witnessing at close quarters the graceful migration of whales and their calves.
Jeff is conducting a 6 day/5 night tour this year and would love you to join in. Dates being:
* Wednesday 31st July – Monday 5th August 2024
The Head of the Great Australian Bight in August is a bucket-list destination for anyone craving to see the majestic Southern Right whales up close. Their annual migration to the southern coastline of Australia from Antarctic waters to calve and nurse their young gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal on these Teague Tours expeditions. Taking to the spectacular waters of Fowlers Bay on the 50 foot “Asherah” then heading to the Head of Bight to view these “beasts” from the raised boardwalks has us seeing them in their natural environment from many different angles.
Jeff says: “This experience can only be described as a gift from ‘Mother Nature’. Marvel at these magnificent mammals along with other amazing wildlife that abounds here, including dolphins, sea lions, sea eagles and more. Talk about creating extraordinary memories – this tour is a stand-out!!!”
Jeff will greet in Adelaide CBD and chauffeur you around Eyre Peninsula in the comfort of the Teague Tours’ coach, staying at seriously comfortable accommodation at all our overnight stops.
These 6 day/5 night tour is priced at $2,595 per person twin share & $500 Single Supplement and include return a flight from Port Lincoln to Adelaide, quality accommodation as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The tours are limited to a maximum of 14 guests per tour.
And an added bonus this year is to stop in Whyalla and experience the cuttlefish migration onboard a glass bottom boat. Please note that I will be working in with the operator of this experience for conditions & the like.
